The center was opened on the 11th of September, on the territory of the Infectious Diseases Hospital. It is fully equipped with radioactive substances for diagnoses and treatment, which distinguish it from the other centers of this type in the region. The latest machine with the upgrade function has been chosen through a tender from the American company “General Electric”. This gives the center opportunity to carry out all the updates from the “General Electric”. The center is headed by MD Natalia Shengelia who has been working in the field of Nuclear Medicine in Vienna University for years.
