GREEN OINTMENT

Patent for the "Green ointment" was issued in Georgia in 1996, in USA – 1999, Euro-patent and israel patent - in 2022

COMPOSITION : Celandine Herb, Plantain Folium, Camomile Flower, Achillea Millefolium Herb, Calendula Officinalis Flower, Hypericum Herb, Eucalyptus Folium, Olive oil, Bee wax.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION: The ointment accelerates the healing process, has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action.

INDICATIONS:

  • • Infected wounds; purulent affection of hypodermic tissue (furuncle, abscess, panaritium);
  • • Burns of I, II, IIIa degree (including those developed by exposure to the sun);
  • • During skin injuries (burns) due to radiation therapy;
  • • After cosmetic procedures (epilation);
  • • Trophic ulcers of different etiology; decubitus;
  • • Cervical erosion and colpitis;
  • • Hemorrhoid treatment;
  • • Nosebleed; tympanic membrane trauma; acute perforative otitis;
  • • Bedsore and different skin irritation among children;
  • • In case of stings by a gnat or other insects;
  • • Treatment of infectious inflammatory diseases of paradontium and oral mucosa;
  • • Tissue regeneration in faciomaxillary surgery and implantology.

ACTION MECHANISM : "Green Ointment" is characterized by antioxidant action, it reduces the level of hypoxia in the cell, improves microcirculation. The preparation provides for reduction of capillary permeability and in result the tissue edema is reduced. Under the preparation effect the activation of cellular link immunity, the intensification of phagocytosis, the increase of T lymphocytes quantity. The ointment has a bactericidal action in regard to the following groups of microbes: Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus fecalis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. Coli.

CONTRAINDICATION: Has not been observed.

SIDE-EFFECTS : In rare cases individual supersensitivity can be observed, which disappears at seizure of ointment application.

DOSAGE OF THE PARAMEDICAL PRODUCT : After treating of the wound or burn by any antiseptic solution, the ointment is applied as a wrap of a layer of 2–3 mm once a day. For those suffering by cervical erosion and colpitis, except for pregnant ones, a tampon is applied once in 12 hours. At tympanic membrane inflammation, the ointment is inuncted in an area of auricle wherein the membrane cannot be injured.
